Dear Prospective Member,
Thank you very much for expressing interest in becoming a member of Madonna Circle. We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 year. The deadline for accepting the application is March 12th, 2012. Please return the completed application to your sponsor or you can mail it to me, Gia Blanchard, 1800 Grovecrest Road, Germantown, TN 38139.
Madonna Circle was founded in 1936. It is the largest Catholic Women’s Organization in the city with over 375 members. The Circle’s mission is to improve the Memphis community by stewardship and charity in the gospel tradition. Our charitable work includes supporting St. Peter’s Villa and the Jubilee Schools. Our Annual Charity Event this year is “An Evening with Jeanne Robertson”. She is a renowned humorist. The recipient of the funds raised from this event is Memphis Child Advocacy Center. In the past several years , we have raised money for several organizations such as The Church Health Center, MIFA, Memphis Women’s Shelter and Porter-Leath Center.
